Medical Opinion
The patients are required to e-mail their latest and updated medical reports. The team shall discuss the case with the specialists and revert within 24 hours, with the suggested line of treatment.
Cost of Treatment
The team at HCG shall revert on the tentative cost of the treatment after seeking the doctor’s opinion, which will help the patient to understand the total cost involved in his/her treatment at HCG.
Plan Your Trip
In order to facilitate hassle free and comfortable travel, HCG provides end-to-end services to the patient, from planning to the departure post treatment.
Visa Application
We, at HCG, would send the visa invitation letter to the patient, once they have decided to visit HCG for treatment. Following which the patient/caregiver is required to mail across the copies of their passport, along with the passport copies of their attendant. The patient should apply for Medical Visa at the Indian High Commission or the Indian Embassy in their country, and carry a copy of the Visa Invitation Letter to the Indian Embassy at the time of the visa interview. It is mandatory for the Patient to apply for Medical Visa for himself and Medical Attendant Visa for the attendant. The patients are advised not to travel to India on tourist visa.
Yellow Fever Vaccination
The patients and their attendants are advised to get the Yellow Fever Vaccination before travelling to India. The vaccination should be taken atleast 7 days before travelling. The patient and the attendant must carry the Yellow Fever Certificate with them during their visit to India.
Arrival Details
Upon booking travel tickets to India, the patient must send a copy of the ticket to the HCG team, so that the necessary arrangements can be made prior to their arrival.
Airport Pick & Drop
The hospital will arrange complimentary airport pick-up and drop for the patient, once we receive the flight details.
Pre & Post Discharge Accommodation
HCG provides comfortable and economical pre and post accommodation facilities for the patient and the attendant, at walking distance from the hospital. There are also several hotels and boarding options near the hospital as per the budget and preference of the patient.
Patient Management & Re-confirmation of the Cost of Treatment
The International Patient Operation Team will receive the patient at the hospital and initiate the formalities, after which the medical team will attend to the patient at the earliest. The operations team will also coordinate with the FRRO office for patient registration. The final cost of treatment or re-confirmation on the treatment cost, shall be provided by the team based on the initial investigation and consultation with the doctor. The cost may vary from the initial quote, based on the patient's condition and investigations.
Payment and Currency Exchange
The patients are requested to the make the payment only in USD. However, a dedicated travel desk is available for any currency exchange at the hospital facility. The patient can make the payment via cash/card or directly through wire transfer. The bank details shall be provided by the hospital on request.
Follow-up queries
The patient can remain in touch with the International operations team, for the follow-up visits and other queries related to their treatment. The patient can also follow-up through the HCG overseas offices and executives.
Patients and attendants are advised to check that they have the below check-list in place, before travelling:
