Introduction

Dr. Krithikaa Sekar is a distinguished radiation oncologist who has graduated from the prestigious Regional Cancer Centre of Tamil Nadu. Driven by a mission to deepen the understanding of cancer beyond routine treatment, Dr. Krithikaa Sekar pursued advanced training in both clinical and basic science research techniques abroad and in Indian Universities. Doctor holds many meritorious presentations and awards at various international forums including ASTRO, ESMO, and IMMUNORAD, and numerous publications in indexed journals.

Dr. Krithikaa is the director of the “Vizhithidu Foundation," which is actively involved in spreading cancer awareness by helping the public understand cancer from a lifestyle perspective. Her notable research contributions include ‘Risk stratifying tongue cancers for personalized treatment’, ‘Understanding the Impact of Glucose on Cancer Cells,’ and ‘Analysing the Role of Pesticides in Breast Cancer Development.’

She is an expert in using new-age radiotherapy technologies, namely the TrueBeam linear accelerator, CyberKnife, and the Ethos adaptive radiotherapy platform.
