Introduction

Dr. Mayur M Kamani is a musculoskeletal oncologist with expertise in the management of paediatric and adult bone and soft tissue tumours, as well as metastatic bone diseases. He has completed fellowship training in musculoskeletal oncology and is experienced in limb salvage surgeries, sclerotherapy, and pelvic resection, soft tissue sarcoma resection. Dr. Mayur adopts a patient-centric approach, utilising the latest cutting-edge technologies and techniques to provide personalised care and the best available treatment options.

Area of Expertise

  • Dr. Mayur’s expertise lies in the management of paediatric bone and soft tissue tumours, adult bone and soft tissue tumours and metastatic bone diseases.
  • Dr. Mayur has a special interest in newer techniques in musculoskeletal oncology like 3D printing and patient-specific jigs and implants. He has done several limb salvage surgeries, sclerotherapy for benign lesions and pelvic resection for malignant tumours.  He is also experienced in performing soft tissue sarcoma surgeries where following resection of tumours, reconstruction of defects is required to restore the structure and functioning of the affected limbs.
  • He has handled more than 500 cases so far.
