Introduction

Dr. Milind Shetti is a well-recognised radiation oncologist, specialising in head and neck oncology, breast, gastrointestinal and gynaecological malignancies. He has experience in individual planning and treating of patients under cobalt-60 and different linear accelerators, starting from Siemens to Cyberknife. He does personalised contouring for all conformal RT procedures (including brachytherapy) and writing chemotherapy orders. Dr. Milind's work has earned him recognition through awards and abstracts in several conferences. His patient-centric care approach ensures that each patient receives individualized treatment.

Dr. Milind Shetti’s primary interests are head and neck oncology followed by breast, gastrointestinal and gynaecological malignancies.
He specialises in the following areas:
Individual planning (manual & CT) and treating of patients under cobalt-60 as well as different linear accelerators like Siemen’s, ELEKTA, VARIAN, etc.
Contouring for all conformal (3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT, VMAT,SRS, SRT, SBRT) RT procedures as well as brachytherapy (ISBT & ICBT).
Performing ICBT procedures and taking care of patients till discharge.
Writing chemotherapy orders as well as managing patients post-chemotherapy.
Teaching juniors the basics of radiotherapy as well as contouring in TPS.
Dr. Milind's secondary interests are brachytherapy & stereotactic radiotherapy.
He also has a hold on chemotherapy drugs and their administration to patients.
Dr. Milind has handled over 6000 cases so far.

He also attends various health & awareness camps regularly.
Dr. Milind’s work was elected for best paper presentation in AROICON 2014 (oral and poster presentation) and in 2012, 2015 and 2016 (poster presentation). Abstract published in JCRT 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
His work has also been selected for the best paper award in ICC 2013. (poster presentation). Abstract published in Indian Journal of Oncology 2013.
He has attended the ICRO teaching programme in Bhatinda.
He is a life member of AROI and IMA.
