Dr. Raj has been honoured with the prestigious ‘The Inspiring Oncologist of India’ award by The Economic Times.
Dr. Raj has examined and treated more than 90000 cancer patients and performed more than 45000 major & supra-major cancer surgeries, 1000+ childhood cancer patients and has conducted more than 300 multinational clinical trials in oncology.
He holds the membership of Maharashtra Oncology Group and Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh along with the Membership of National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) by the Ministry of Health, New Delhi.
Dr. Raj has been awarded various authorships for the trials conducted.
Dr. Raj started HCG Manavata Jan Jagruti Abhyaan to create awareness on tobacco hazards, early symptoms of cancer, the importance of screening, etc., among the masses.
He has completed scientific treatments in more than 2000 screening camps and lectures, which have benefited more than 55,000 screened individuals in and around north Maharashtra.
