She has extensive training and certifications, including a fellowship in clinical research in head & neck services from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, Surgical Oncology fellowship training from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad, and a Global Online Fellowship for head and neck oncology, by IFHNOS (International Federation of Head and Neck Oncology).
