Dr Rita Singh has had an enviable career in the field of Radiotherapy. She completed her speciality training in the field of Radiation Oncology at renowned HCG Cancer Center (Healthcare Global Cancer Center), Bangalore which was equipped with all higher technology machines (Tomotherapy, Cyberknife, Linear Accelerators with 3DCRT, IMRT, IGRT & VMAT facility and HDR Brachytherapy) she underwent intensive 3 year training in treatment of all major cancers in the body. She had the experience to work with a wide range of softwares & different Planning Systems like Eclipse, Monaco, MimVista, Tomotherapy Planning Station, Volo & Oncentra. After gaining rich experience in cancer, she moved to Bhopal and worked in Jawaharlal Nehru Cancer Hospital & Research Centre one of the renowned hospital in central India (equipped with Halcyon, Linear Accelerator, Cobalt Teletherapy and HDR Brachytherapy) and gained extensive hands on experience of the latest radiotherapy equipment with planning and implementation of IMRT, IGRT, 3DCRT plans and also performed more than thousand intracavitary brachytherapy in case of carcinoma cervix and vaginal brachytherapy in endometrial carcinoma. Also tutored the Junior Residents and RT technologists.
