Introduction

Dr. Vidya Bhargavi is a distinguished interventional radiologist with specialized expertise in both vascular and non-vascular interventions. Her academic credentials include MBBS and MD (Radiodiagnosis) degrees from prestigious medical institutions. To further hone her expertise, she completed her fellowship training in onco-interventional radiology at HCG Cancer Centre, Bengaluru. Dr. Vidya also holds a fellowship in USG Guided Sports & Regenerative Medicine from IPSC Varsity & Training Institute (2022-2023) and has been certified by the European Board of Interventional Radiology (EBIR) in 2023. She participated in an International Visiting Observership Program in Interventional Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA, in March 2024.

 

Dr. Vidya is recognized as the first woman interventional radiologist in Karnataka, highlighting her pioneering spirit and commitment to advancing medical practices.
