The interview of our CEO, Mr. Raj Gore has been featured in the Ahmedabad edition of Divya Bhaskar and Navgujarat Samay publications titled Healthcare Global Enterprise Ltd plans 120 crore acquisition.

Healthcare Global Enterprise Ltd., a leader in the healthcare sector planning to expand across the country. Listed in the stock market HCG plans to acquire 60 to 80 bedded cancer hospitals next year. This will include one or two hospitals and around Rs.100-120 crores will be invested behind the scheme. HCG has more hospitals in tier two and three cities along with larger cities, in addition to which another new cancer hospital will be coming up in Ahmedabad in early 2024, with a capacity of 200 beds. In the coming years, the company has expanded to Bengaluru in addition to Gujarat.

Meanwhile, the company has opened an OPD for head and neck cancer care at the HCG Cancer Center in Ahmedabad, the first of its kind in Gujarat. The newly launched OPD will have 10 super specialist head and neck cancer surgeons and will provide telemedicine technology to patients to communicate with experts globally. Mr. Raj Gore further added that the company currently has operations in 21 cities across the country and has a total capacity of 2000 beds. Apart from India, the company also has a presence in Nairobi. Every year the number of reported cases of cancer in India is around 19 lakh but considering the unreported cases, the number of cancer patients has been around 60-70 lakhs every year and it has been increasing by 12 percent every year.
