We provide a range of payment options to ensure convenience and flexibility for our patients and their families. You can select the following options:
You can carry hard cash, but it is recommended that you keep your cash amount to a minimum because of safety issues. Keep in mind that the maximum cash you can carry, as per regulations, is 10,000 USD, and any amount above that needs to be reported at customs.
HCG accepts major international credit/debit cards. Patients/families are advised to activate cards for international transactions.
Patients can initiate transfers from their checking accounts to the hospital's account. An international desk is available for patients and their families to help them find wire transfer centres near the hospital. Wire transfers take 3-4 working days, so one must plan accordingly.
International patients can also pay using the following sponsored options:
Some patients have their employers or corporate sponsors pay for part of the treatment or the entire treatment. In such instances, it is necessary to submit a sponsorship letter and other supporting documents as requested by our international patient care team.
There are many different non-profits and charitable organizations that offer sponsorships or grants for qualifying patients to offset medical expenses.
Patients or their family members will be responsible for identifying a suitable charitable trust to gather funds for their treatment. HCG will only be providing a referral letter and supporting documents, such as the treatment plan, estimated treatment cost, and medical reports.
In some cases, the charitable trusts only pay the partial bill amount, and in such cases, the patient is liable to settle the bill before leaving for their country.
If you have any questions about making a payment through charity, please contact our patient desk.
Patients or their families can raise funds through crowdfunding platforms. One can get friends, family members, or even strangers to donate for their medical expenses.
Patients or their family members will be responsible for running the crowdfunding campaigns for their treatment.
We provide referral letters and supporting documents for patients seeking to raise funds for their treatment through various international crowdfunding platforms.
In some cases, patients may not raise the entire bill amount through crowdfunding, and in such cases, patients are liable to settle the remaining bill amount before leaving for their country.

Several government-funded methods of payment are also available:
Some countries have government programs to pay their citizens for medical treatments abroad. Patients must look into the eligibility and the application process. If the patients require referral letters or any supporting documents to apply for those programs, our team can be contacted.
Patients can contact their home country's embassy in India for details about government-funded programs.
It's also possible to pay your treatment costs using your insurance policy.
HCG has tie-ups with numerous insurance providers worldwide that enable us to deliver hassle-free care to international patients. Patients/families should check with their insurance partners and our international patient care team regarding coverage and pre-authorization policies.
We also provide credit billing services in collaboration with our patients' insurance partners. We suggest that you take a look at the list of our insurance partners to check if your insurance partner is also a part of our network.
For insurance patients, we will need a guarantee of payment from the insurance provider, where the insurance company goes through the treatment plan and the treatment estimate cost, carries out an evaluation, and agrees to bear the treatment expenses on behalf of the patient.
We proceed further once we receive the guarantee of payment from the patient’s insurer; later, we claim for reimbursement after the treatment is completed.
